Kickin' this Off

This is it kids. Our blog. Our sounding board for whatever happens to be on our minds on a given day, hour, minute...whatever you want it to be. I'll start with a "word picture" of sorts that continues to resonate with me, compliments of Pastor Robert. I'll ad lib a bit for the pieces I don't remember verbatim.

A very famous classical musician volunteered for an experiment in NY City. He went down to the subway and played his music...music that he's typically paid piles of money to perform. Some commuters walked by him in a rush, not even noting his existence. Others looked at him, smiled and hopped on their train. Only a few actually stopped in their tracks and realized the incredible talent they were in the midst of. One person actually sat down and let their train go by.

God plays unbelievably beautiful music for us each and every day. He sits in the midst of our crazy schedules, performing for us, just wanting to be heard and recognized. But we're too busy to even notice. If we just opened our ears, stopped a minute to look & slowed down, we'd be blessed with priceless music each and every day.

Have a beautiful day and we'll see ya'll tonight for a beautiful night:) Come hungry kids! Happy blogging.
